Is there going to be a detailed draft procedure put in place?
I see we have a draft board, but I am still a little unclear on how this whole deal is going to work.

It's been a while since I've focused on this league, so it's going to take me a few days to get back into the flow of things. Anyway, I'm not completely sure what we're doing with that. Rik attempted to send Davey and myself an attached document for us to review that was supposed to be the draft guidelines, but in his typical fashion failed miserably as I never recieved the attachment (I kid Rik, I kid). There are details about the drafts posted under the League Rules thread, which is currently listed under League News. We should probably move that so League Rules has it's own thing and is easier to find, but for now that's where it is. Since I never saw Rik's document, I can't say whether the details under the League Rules thread will be the same as the ones he's planning on posting later, but I imagine they should be. Perhaps his is more detailed, I'm not sure yet as I haven't seen it. Here's a link to the League Rules post, for even easier access. The details are listed under the 'Yearly Drafts' caption. bigsgm2008.proboards74.com/index.cgi?board=general&action=display&thread=16&page=1#53Another thing we are still finalizing as well, is how we will handle foreign players. We're still hammering out all the details, but everything should be go to go before we begin drafting.

I have posted the draft rules for the MiLB draft under that tab. Look for the MiLB draft guidlines thread. Please note, we will be updating this with info on the foreign players in the next couple of days, but the basics are there.

We as a league do not intend to put up anything other than the draft board that shows who has been taken. It is each owners responsibility to acquaint themselves with who is already on another teams roster. If you draft someone who is already on a team roster, your pick will be voided and you will be notified to remake your pick. The draft will not stop for you to do this.

is it a snake draft, a ladder draft, or a fixed draft?
