Nice pick, Cubs. I envy you -- you have the whole Rays trifecta of Price, McGee and Davis. The Rays have incredible pitching coming up through the system, and I'm convinced that in three or four years (if not sooner) they will be a perennial AL East contender with the best pitching staff in baseball since the Orioles had Jim Palmer, Dave McNally, Mike Cuellar and Pat Dobson.
I'm ready to make my next pick and will post it as soon as Angels makes his pick or goes off the clock at 5:08p ET today, whichever comes first.

Thanks. I'm extremely surprised that I got all three, plus Brignac. I don't think I should have to worry about my starting pitching for quite some time with the youngsters I have mixed in with some vets.

K. Third time's a charm. I've checked the first four rounds of the draft. I've checked the rosters. Nobody seems to have the White Sox. So...
4.06 New York Mets (Rockies roster) select Fautino de los Santos, SP, Chicago White Sox.
The only thing I'll say in my defense is that it's really confusing that almost none of the team names correlate to the team rosters. In the roster section, would it be possible to post team name AND the name of the team whose roster has been selected? And, while we're on the subject, may I just be the Rockies? I have the Rockies roster, whatever allegiance the previous owner had to the Mets is something I definitely don't share, and I'd like to keep it simple. If you all agree, I'd like to be the Rockies. It involves absolutely no changes except the name. Thanks.

Sorry, you can't have him either - he's my next pick. LOL. You son of a.......
As far as your name, I don't see a problem with it. As long as the LM doesn't mind, we can change the thread for your roster to the Rockies and you can remove the Mets part of your display name. Regarding your other question, we have it the way we do because after a while it won't matter what franchise you started with. Through drops and trades and stuff, it won't reflect that too much anymore. I don't have a problem with making the change though if the LM wants it.

Thank you both for letting me make the name change to Colorado Rockies. Good point about the original name not really mattering after awhile. And sorry about de los Santos...
